To design a good product, we first needed to understand what’s currently considered the best—or even the best-selling—on the market. We collected samples from factories and Amazon, then evaluated the pros and cons of each.

Stand-Up + Wide Opening + Secure Seal

We developed a patented sealing method that grips and reinforces both ends to prevent leaks. The bag stands upright on its own, features a wide opening for easy access, has a clean appearance, and reliably prevents leakage.

CMF

Most silicone bags on the market have a naturally sticky surface due to the material’s inherent properties. However, a process called UV treatment can be applied—not only to eliminate harmful microorganisms, but also to reduce surface tackiness and improve the user experience.

NURBS 3D

Designed using 3° and 5° curves to create clean, minimal surfaces. The side profile was fine-tuned using a curvature graph to achieve a smooth pouring spout and a refined overall look.

Detail

The bottom radius is designed to be eccentric, creating a thicker base area compared to the side walls. This added thickness improves the bag’s ability to stand upright.

Hardness Test

Hardness directly affects sealability. To find the ideal balance, we tested zippers with varying levels of hardness and selected the best middle ground through multiple evaluations.

Sealibility Check

I cut open the sample to identify which section of the zipper wasn’t sealing properly. While the CAD looked fine, real-world factors like mold tolerance and material hardness affected the actual sealability.
